INTERFACE FAQ'S Interfaces are used as eye catching navigational menu systems that will hopefully entice your visitors to continue exploring your site. The interface appears to be one graphic but it is actually many pieces of the graphic. Each piece is called a slice. The slices are then placed in a table specifically made to display the graphic as one piece. Specific slices when clicked on will take you to a new page. Unlike other interfaces that sell for hundreds of dollars and come with complicated licensing you can have these interfaces for much less and much easier terms of use. Simply make a donation offer. All reasonable offers will be considered. Web designers may also use the interface on the sites they design as part of their web design business. The original artist (M. Buck) retains all copyrights to the graphic. If you are a designer and will select an interface you will receive the interface in PSD or PSP format so you can adjust the interface background color. All visible layers are merged in this version. When an interface is selected the graphics are delivered clean. This means there is no branding or copyright embedded onto the graphic. The original creator of the interface still retains full copyright of the graphic. Interfaces that are already sliced and have html coding provided are easy to use. They don't require any complicated coding. It's all basic html. We have done the hard part for you. Our interfaces do not require special applications to run them like Flash or complex Javascripts. Because it's basic html even beginners will be able to understand the coding. The interface will be delivered to you in a zip file. Once you unzip the file (see our WHAT'S NEW page if you need an unzipping program to download) you will find all the image slices and a cut and paste .txt file with the html code you will need to place into your html document. If you have selected Option A you will need to add the text to the button or design that you wish to assign a url to. You will also need to add the url link to the html code. If you have selected Option B we will add the text to the button or design for you. However, you will still need to add the url link to the html code. You will need to have a basic knowledge of html code to adjust the code to reflect the linking information. In both options we will deliver what we consider to be an appropriately sliced interface. If you want the graphic sliced differently we will send you a version of the interface and you will be responsible for slicing it. This would also apply if you will be using the interface throughout your site on different background colors. Because this option will require a psp or psd version of the interface an additional donation will be necessary. The graphics are delivered "as is". If you want an interface in a different color scheme it may be possible. Don't hesitate to ask us. The interfaces all come with a few select extra graphics such as buttons and other decorative elements. If you need some other matching element made to match the interface contact us. We're happy to accomodate you. You must give us a specific color of the background you plan to put the interface on. We will deliver the interface to match that color. You will need to provide us with a "color code". We can't match simply based on Red, Blue, Yellow, etc. If you want the interface on a black background the color code would be 000000. If you need information on what color codes are you can visit our color chart HERE. Remember, we want to work within your budget. Any and all reasonable donation amounts will be considered.
